Key Responsibilities:
- Operational & Fleet Management
- Monitor and optimize the daily deployment of heavy machinery (Excavators, Dozers, Off-Highway Trucks, etc.) to meet client production targets.
- Coordinate with the maintenance lead to ensure preventive and corrective maintenance is performed with minimal downtime.
- Manage the mobilization and demobilization of equipment to and from remote mine sites.
- Client & Contract Administration
- Act as the primary point of contact for the clients site manager; attend daily production meetings to align rental services with mine plans.
- Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly reports regarding equipment hours, availability (PA/UA), fuel consumption, and incident logs.
- Ensure all billable hours are accurately recorded and that contract variations or "extra" requests are properly documented for invoicing.
- Safety & Compliance
- Enforce company and client safety protocols (SMK3/K3) to achieve "Zero Harm" targets.
- Ensure all equipment and operators hold valid permits (SIO/SIA) and meet mining-specific regulatory requirements.
- Financial & Resource Management
- Manage site-level P&L, including labor costs, spare parts inventory, and fuel expenses.
- Supervise a diverse on-site team of mechanics, operators, and administrative staff.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelors degree in Mining Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any related technical field.
- Minimum 8-10 years in mining operations, specifically in Heavy Equipment Management or rental services.
- Deep understanding of heavy equipment mechanical systems and mining productivity metrics (PA, MA, UA, EU).
- Mandatory mining certifications in Indonesia (such as POP - Pengawas Operasional Pertama; POM/POU is a plus).
- Ability to work in remote locations under a roster system.
- Strong ability to handle "back-charges" or disputes regarding equipment misuse by the client.

- Willing to be placed in any of Merdeka's site, i.e. Banyuwangi.
