1. Power System Design & Review
- Monitor and coordinate with Design team for power system designs including RSS, TSS, ROCS/OCS, ER layouts, LV/HV distribution, grounding, and power calculations.
- Ensure compliance with MRT design standards, local regulations, and international codes (IEC, IEEE, EN standards).
2. Project Management & Coordination
- Lead and manage all engineering, installation, and commissioning activities related to power systems.
- Develop project schedules, resource allocation plans, risk assessments, and interface management strategies.
- Coordinate with signaling, telecom, rolling stock, and civil teams to ensure power system readiness for system integration.
3. Construction & Implementation Oversight
- Supervise installation works of RSS, ROCS, TSS, ER, cable routes, switchgear, transformers, UPS, batteries, and auxiliary systems.
- Ensure correct implementation of equipment layouts, cable sizing, and routing as per approved design.
- Review method statements, ITPs, FAT/SAT procedures, and monitor contractor performance.
4. Testing, Commissioning & System Integration
- Lead testing & commissioning activities for RSS, ROCS/OCS, TSS, and station/ER power systems.
- Support integrated testing with signaling, telecom, SCADA, and traction systems.
- Ensure system readiness for trial runs and overall MRT operations.
5. Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all power systems comply with safety, reliability, EMC/EMI, and fire protection standards.
- Ensure proper documentation of designs, red-lines, as-builts, and O&M manuals.
- Support technical audits, inspections, and approvals by authorities, consultants, and stakeholders.
6. Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Manage OEMs, EPC contractors, and system suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and designs.
- Attend coordination meetings, report project progress, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Ensure contractual compliance and support commercial/technical evaluations as required.
