Junior Process Engineer
SMECProcess Design & Simulation: Utilize simulation software (e.g., HYSYS) to develop heat and material balances. Create PFDs and P&IDs, ensuring consistency across all project documents.
Engineering Calculations: Perform hydraulic calculations, piping design, utility requirements, and equipment sizing (e.g., pumps, vessels, heat exchangers).
Documentation & Data Sheet Preparation: Generate process datasheets for equipment and instruments (e.g., control valves) and update technical documentation.
Technical Support: Assist with feasibility studies, conceptual design, and detailed engineering phases. Review vendor submissions to ensure alignment with design specifications.
Safety & Compliance: Contribute to safety studies (e.g., HAZOP/HAZID) and ensure all designs conform to safety standards, environmental regulations, and company codes.
Troubleshooting & Field Support: Assist during the commissioning and start-up phases of projects, providing troubleshooting support.
Support BD activities (pre-sales and proposal preparation) if required.
Working as project control and document control whenever required by projects.
Perform sustainable energy related tasks as secondary role when required.
