Main Responsibilities
1. Coordinate all parties involved to ensure efficient and timely vessel loading and discharging operations.
2. Disseminate vessel ETA information to external and internal stakeholders prior to arrival.
3. Ensure cargo readiness and regulatory compliance, including Customs clearance for international shipments.
4. Coordinate with stevedoring service providers to secure labor and equipment availability.
5. Ensure cargo operations commence promptly upon berthing and are completed in accordance with the vessel schedule.
6. Liaise with vessel officers to minimize operational delays during cargo handling.
7. Prepare, control, and distribute all required vessel, cargo, and dangerous goods documentation and permits.
8. Monitor, report, and finalize cargo operation results, vessel departure reports, and operational expense accountability.
General Responsibilities
1. Ensure the implementation of an Integrated Management System, including the identification, documentation, and control of risks in the relevant department's work area.
2. Foster and ensure the commitment of every team member to understand and adhere to all applicable Integrated Management System requirements.
3. Be willing to participate in the investigation process of accidents, incidents, or actions that may lead to incidents caused by unsafe actions or unsafe conditions, including providing accurate information and reports based on known facts.
4. Be willing to engage in the information security control process applied to protect the information assets and information processing assets owned and/or managed by the Company from threats to confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
Requirements
1. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Maritime, Shipping, Logistics, or a related discipline.
2. At least 1 year of experience in shipping agency, terminal, or port operations is preferred.
3. Knowledge of vessel cargo operations and port regulations and familiarity with shipping and cargo documentation processes.
4. Understanding of how to handle DG and permitting would be an advantage.
5. Strong coordination and communication skills with internal and external parties and good reporting and time-management skills.
