In this role, you will lead a dedicated team focused on developing data-driven solutions that enhance business operations. Your expertise will be crucial in shaping the company's data architecture and analytics strategies, ensuring data integrity and compliance with relevant regulations. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will help build and manage the company data warehouse, create insightful reports, and design key performance indicators that drive success. This is an impact-driven position that requires both technical knowledge and leadership skills.
Accountabilities
- Analyze database designs to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
- Build and manage the company's data warehouse and reporting solutions.
- Create reports and dashboards using PowerBI.
- Design and implement key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Support analysts across the organization in reporting needs.
- Develop data models for reporting purposes.
- Lead the implementation of data modeling solutions.
- Ensure the integrity and security of the database.
- Work with marketing to create data monitoring models for new products.
- Coordinate with third-party IT vendors for data solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science or related field (Master's preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in data science.
- 3-5 years of experience managing a team.
- Proficiency in SQL; knowledge of Python, Snowflake, DBT is a plus.
- Experience with machine learning solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Strong statistical analysis skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities.
- Quality assurance and test coverage experience.
- Proven ability to develop creative solutions.
