Clinic Service & Operations Lead (Animal Healthcare)
(Internal title: Senior Vet Tech)
This role is the service and operational backbone of our clinic. You ensure patients are well cared for, clients feel supported and reassured, and daily clinic operations run smoothly.
This position is ideal for:
- Experienced Vet Techs ready to grow into leadership
- Hospitality / operations leaders (Starbucks, McDonald’s, retail, hotel, F&B) who are disciplined, calm under pressure, and eager to learn animal healthcare
No medical background required to apply.
Full clinical training and doctor supervision are provided.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
1) Service Leadership & Patient Experience (Primary Focus)
- Lead daily patient & client flow from arrival to post-treatment follow-up
- Act as the bridge between the medical team and customer service
- Ensure communication with clients is warm, empathetic, and professional
- Handle service issues or complaints calmly and solution-oriented
- Lead morning huddles to align service, operations, and medical readiness
- Maintain hospitality standards comparable to premium service brands
2) Clinic Operations & Team Coordination
- Oversee daily opening & closing checklist and premise readiness
- Ensure medical and non-medical areas are clean, organized, and operational
- Monitor inventory flow, stock readiness, and expiry (with stockist support)
- Coordinate with Head Office, CS, and stockist for smooth operations
- Step in as PIC during peak hours, emergencies, or manpower gaps
- Identify workflow improvements and operational risks early
3) Clinical Support & Quality Assurance (With Training & Supervision)
- Support doctors and medical team in patient handling, animal restraint, and room readiness (hygiene, cleanliness, equipment completeness)
- Ensure exam, treatment, and inpatient areas meet clinical safety standards
- Operate and care for basic medical equipment (training provided)
- Support and guide junior Vet Techs in handling and patient care
- Ensure animal welfare, safety, and infection control protocols are followed
Note:
Candidates without a medical background will not perform medical procedures independently and will be fully trained under doctor supervision.
Who We’re Looking For
Option A – Medical Track
- 1–2 years experience as Vet Tech / Paramedic in an animal clinic or hospital
- Interested in leadership, service quality, and operations
Option B – Operations / Hospitality Track
- Experience as Store Manager / Assistant Manager / Supervisor in hospitality or retail
- Strong in SOP discipline, shift leadership, and service recovery
- Comfortable leading teams and handling customer situations
- Willing to learn animal healthcare in a structured environment
