What You Will Do
You will be responsible for leading and driving Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) excellence at the site, ensuring full compliance with Kenvue EHS standards, local regulations, and ISO14001:2015 requirements. This role plays a key part in enabling safe business growth, strengthening safety culture, and preventing operational risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance of the EHS management system with Kenvue EHS standards, applicable local EHS laws and regulations, and ISO14001:2015 requirements.
- Lead EHS assessments and EHS by Design initiatives for new product launches and new processes to support business growth.
- Regularly review EHS aspects and impacts to keep site Top-5 risks updated.
- Lead site EHS digital initiatives based on site risks, priorities, and pain points to improve EHS performance.
- Drive execution of site critical standards, including LOTOTO, Machine Safety, Electrical Safety, Contractor Management, and Non-routine Task Management, especially in high-risk areas.
- Facilitate and lead investigations of incidents, accidents, and SIF-p (Severe Injury and Fatality Precursors), ensuring timely completion and development of CAPA.
- Ensure 100% closure of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) with effectiveness using the 3C approach (Correct, Complete, Continue).
- Promote proactive reporting of unsafe conditions and unsafe behaviors.
- Analyze EHS trends and implement preventive actions to reduce operational risks.
- Conduct periodic safety inspections across facilities to strengthen safety culture and proactive risk prevention.
- Partner with key plant stakeholders to lead and sustain a strong “Safety Always” culture and mindset.
- Manage periodic EHS reporting to local government authorities to ensure compliance with safety, occupational health, and environmental regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health, or a related field.
- 3–5+ years of experience as an EHS professional in pharmaceutical, chemical, or manufacturing industries.
- Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, ISO14001:2015, and EHS management systems.
- Proven experience leading EHS programs in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Experience conducting incident investigations and driving effective CAPA implementation.
- Solid understanding of critical safety standards (e.g., LOTOTO, machine safety, electrical safety, contractor safety).
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Certification as Ahli K3 Umum (General Safety Expert) and/or Ahli K3 Kimia (Chemical Safety Expert) by the Ministry of Manpower of Indonesia.
- Experience working in a matrix organization and/or international company.
- Strong leadership skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, and a proactive, growth-oriented mindset.
- Professional EHS certification (e.g., NEBOSH, ISO Auditor, or equivalent) is a plus.
- Experience with EHS digital tools and systems.
- Experience supporting new product launches or new process implementation from an EHS perspective.
- Strong leadership capability with a proven track record in building and sustaining a positive safety culture.
- Experience working with external audits, global assurance audits, and regulatory inspections.
