Director, Qualitative, Insights division
Jakarta, Indonesia
Reporting to the Head of Qualitative, Indonesia, your accountability includes building strong relationships with our partnership clients and to grow business among our Top 10 clients, make a positive impact to the client’s business, resulting in overall client satisfaction.
You will be an effective Qualitative Director and be an accomplished-savvy executive with strong Qualitative research and Consulting expertise and be responsible for the overall health, longevity, and growth of our most important, integrated client relationships across the Indonesia business. You will succeed in this role by demonstrating your extensive market research experience to build stronger client relationships, helping our clients use our marketing and consulting expertise to their strategic advantage.
You will also be accountable for the entire research process, projects outcomes, client engagement and consultancy. As part of the senior management team, responsibilities include people management and financial management along with business strategy implementation.

This person is encouraged to:
- Deliver revenue growth for our top 10 key accounts by penetrating clients outside of their research functions, building stronger C-suite relationships and comfortable in presenting to C-suite clients. Opening up “whitespace opportunities” and accessing new budgets in other commercial functions (e.g. marketing consultancy, strategy, and analytics) through cross selling.
- Work towards Results. Using your qualitative and consulting expertise, develop a clear practical agenda to align Qualitative and even other Kantar solutions to act on the clients’ business priorities through understanding their issues. Proactively uncover and drive relationships with clients with excellent potential and turn these opportunities into commercial reality.
- Bring the best of Qualitative research and unlocking growth opportunities in Brand Strategy. Increase customer satisfaction & innovation by bringing the “best of Qualitative” (through understanding the network & strong account management) but also through making valuable contributions by delivering innovative strategic advice that address our clients’ business challenges.
- Develop new frameworks, innovate Qualitative research methodology. Be a thought and innovation leader – especially around cultural understanding frameworks.
- Success is measured through profitable revenue & margin growth, increases in market share and the customer satisfaction improvements achieved across portfolio of the Qualitative and Brand Strategy solution in Indonesia and even beyond for Kantar divisions on key accounts.
